Little Red Wagon Challenge #376- Resolutions

This week our challenge is Resolutions. 2017 is off to a great start so far. I have to say, I don't usually make resolutions because I have a hard time sticking to them. However since this is our theme for our challenge I had to give it some serious thought. I decided my resolution for the new year will be this. I love random acts of kindness. The "just because I thought of you" is just the best! I would like to spread more kindness. I do think the more kindness you share with others, helps all of us. My quote says it all. "You will never regret being kind". I think this is true. So that's my resolution.

My project is a quote that I asked my daughter to make for me. She is awesome at hand lettering and she just got all the stuff to foil her beautiful scripts. So of course she was kind enough to make my quote for me. Then I made a beautiful little 7 1/2"x7 1/2" sign for my studio. I love teal and yellow together and the teal foiled script is so beautiful, the pictures don't really show the shinny too well, but oooooh it's so pretty!

Please join us this week and let's see what your resolutions are. Here is a link to get you to the
Little Red Wagon blog. Top picks will be posted next Tuesday.

Have fun!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #375- Something New!

This week's challenge is a goody! We all have that stash of new goodies we have been waiting to get a chance to use. Well this week is the perfect opportunity to go through all those new pretties and make a little something with them for this challenge. The theme is to use something new. It can be a stamp, an embossing folder, a new tool or technique. Let's see what you make and post it here on the Little Red Wagon blog. The top picks will be posted next Tuesday.

For my card I used a cute little Stamping Bella stamp called Happy Birthday Hoppy Poppy. I saw a technique a couple weeks ago on YouTube by Nina-Marie Trapani from Simon Says Stamp. She made a pop up surprise Valentine card. I just had to give it a try too! See, we all have things we already bought, or techniques we have wanted to try. Combine them and you end up with something fun!!

Happy New Year!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #374- Hello 2017!

Hello 2017!! Yep this week our challenge is a New Years theme. Just post your projects over on the Little Red Wagon blog HERE. Our hostess will post her top picks next Tuesday.

For my card I kept it very simple. I just used some gold and silver sparkly papers for the banners. I used my words from the My Favorite Things stamp set called Hand Lettered Holiday. The little bunny is from Stamping Bella called Nice to Meet You Poppy. The numbers I used are from a very old Stampin Up set I had in my stash.

Hope everyone has a very happy and prosperous New Year!!!
Happy 2017!

Hey there! Just wanted to share this adorable Mama Elephant stamp set I just got called Little Cat Agenda. These little stamps are so cute! There's a bunch in this set to choose from too! I also paired the little kitties with another new large word stamp I just got from Neat And Tangled. I colored these little kitties with my Copic markers.

Have a great day!

Hello again! This week our challenge at Little Red Wagon is called "Follow The Star". Which means you can make any kind of a project and use a star. Little Red Wagon Challenge #372- Christmas Carols

Hey there! This week our challenge is called Christmas Carols. All you need to do is just use a line from a Christmas Carol for the words on your project. Easy peasy huh?

I used this cute little Santa Has a Prezzie stamp and die from Stamping Bella. The words I used is from CC Designs. I also used a My Favorite Things die to cut the top part of the card off. I then cut an acetate piece the size of the card front and ran it through a Swiss dot embossing folder for texture. I also used a Mama Elephant little stitched hill die for my snowy hills. I used my Prismacolor pencils this time too.

Now I have this song stuck in my head: "Have a holly jolly Christmas. In case you didn't hear. Oh by golly have a holly jolly Christmas....... this year!!!"

Check back next Tuesday for the top picks on The Little Red Wagon blog.

Have fun!!
